Community Engagement

  • Community Engagement Opportunities - We want to hear your thoughts and ideas!

Community input and feedback are a critical component of the Facility Modernization Plan (FMP) process. Throughout the study, we will provide opportunities for the community to participate.

Washoe County students, parents and community members will be invited to participate in community forums as outlined below.  At these in-person and/or virtual meetings, you will learn about the FMP and potential outcomes, provide valuable input on your priorities before options are developed, and weigh in on specific solutions being considered before decisions are made.  The meeting format may include small group discussion and surveys to share your perspectives and preferences.  All Community Forums are offered in English and Spanish and refreshments will be served.
