Substitute Services

  • Welcome to Substitute Services

If you have 60 or more college credits or an Associate’s degree or higher, you will apply for a standard substitute license

To apply for your Substitute license, you will need to create an account with the Nevada Department of Education’s online licensure portal OPAL. Here is a link to OPAL

Once you have submitted your application for licensure with the Nevada Department of Education, you must complete the fingerprint process. This is separate from any fingerprinting done by the Washoe County School District.

They play a vital role in enabling us to maintain continuity of student academic achievement, thus maximizing the potential of each child passing through our doors.
