The Reed Raider Battalion is celebrating its 47th anniversary this year. We have already hit the deck-plates running for the 2021-2022 school year as things are just getting back to normal after a year of new challenges COVID-19 brought upon us. It is going to be another busy and productive year competing within the district and supporting our local community. A handful of our Cadets have been active during summer break supporting several community organizations. This year, the Cadets will be working hard to go above and beyond serving our community, taking on projects large and small, supporting groups like; Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, Relay for Life, and Nevada Food Bank. Our Cadets on the Specialty Drill Teams will be working hard inpreparation for our first competition in September, ready to defend several of their first place titles. The Raiders value team-bonding and will continue their tradition of hosting several JROTC get-together and parties over the year. This gives the Cadets not only a reward for their hard work, but a place to relax and get to know each other better. The Raider Battalion of 2021-2022 is eager and more than ready to meet this year’s challenges head on. HOO-YAH RAIDERS!
