2025 Summer Graduation - Sign up, Finish Classes, Join the Celebration!
WASHOE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025 SUMMER GRADUATION APPLICATION
Applications will be accepted until July 30, 2025 - Eligibility verification must be received by noon on August 1, 2025.
Summer Graduation will be held on August 8, 2025, at 5:00 pm at Hug High School. We will work with your Registrar/Counselor to verify your eligibility before August 1st. We will notify you when we receive verification of your graduation eligibility.
You will receive specific graduation information after submission of your completed application. If you do not receive ceremony information within a week of application submission, please contact us (see contact information at the bottom of the page).

What does a School Social Worker Do?
Our Mission
The Washoe County School District Counseling Department will provide equitable counseling support, resources, and interventions to ensure that all students in Washoe County School District graduate ready for highly-skilled careers and college. We will help to identify & remove the barriers experienced by students and families by preparing and supporting competent professionals to use comprehensive programming, following national standards in both school counseling and school social work.
Vision StatementThe Washoe County School District counselors and social workers help every student reach their maximum personal, social, career, and academic potential through equitable access and opportunities.
Counseling Services also provides direct service to families and schools, assists with resources, and ensures supports.
