  • School police notified Communications that Sparks Middle school was briefly placed under a code yellow during dismissal today (6/6/2019) while staff handled a student discipline problem. REMSA was called and is evaluating a staff member who was involved. The school has returned to normal operations. There are no planned updates on this event.

Responsible Threat Reporting

If you see any threats against schools or students on social media, please notify the police rather than sharing the threat further on social media. This is the most effective way to stop any actual threat of danger, and prevent the spread of rumors.
