  • 2:10p.m. Desert Skies Police have determined that the area is safe and we are conducting a controlled release this afternoon. Bus students will be loaded up and buses are driving their usual routes dropping off students. We will be slowly releasing all other students to ride with guardians. Please speak with school police representatives at the entrance to school grounds to have your student released. Students who walk home will be kept at school at this time

  • Desert Skies 1:45 September 11, 2019: Desert Skies MS is still on a precautionary Code Yellow. Students are in a controlled release for the end of this school day.

  • UPDATE: September 11, 2019 1:40 p.m. The precautionary Code Yellow at Jesse Hall ES has been lifted. This is the final posting for this incident.

  • Desert Skies 1:20 p.m. students will not be released until the situation is resolved. If you are coming to pick up a student please wait to come to school grounds until we have notifyed you that student are being released. Once the precautionary code yellow lockdown has been lifted students will be released and school buses will run their normal routes. a new update will be posted at 1:50 p.m. at the latest

Responsible Threat Reporting

If you see any threats against schools or students on social media, please notify the police rather than sharing the threat further on social media. This is the most effective way to stop any actual threat of danger, and prevent the spread of rumors.
