New Family Resource Centers serving everyone
A Family Resource Center is a safe and friendly place to go for many different types of resources when families need help. The Washoe County School District has recently added two FRC locations., and all locations are open year-round.

For the Education Alliance of Washoe County's fundraiser "An Evening of Pure Imagination", November 4th, 2023, we shared this quick review of some great donations to schools. Bernice Mathews Elementary School will be building a new playground space for their smallest learners, and their 5th grade Student Council involved the rest of the students in voting for their favorite playground equipment!

Intuit, Inc. is providing the Washoe County School District with a fully operational food truck, equipped with a commercial-grade kitchen, allowing Career & Technical Education students to develop technical, financial and entrepreneurial skills.
