Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)

  • To further the development of leadership and technical skills, students have opportunities to participate in one or more Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). CTSOs develop character, citizenship, and the technical, leadership, and teamwork skills essential for the workforce and their further education. Their activities are considered a part of the instructional day when they are directly related to the competencies and objectives in the course. 
  • Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA)

    A national association for marketing education students, DECA provides its members remarkable experiences in the preparation of emerging leadership and entrepreneurship.

    Obesity is an epidemic in America. Today 1 in 3 American children and teens is overweight or obese. Kids Cook With Heart/Teens Cook With Heart, the first American Heart Association (AHA) kids program in the nation to integrate hands-on healthy cooking and nutrition with cardiovascular health education, aims to change that.
