The Nevada Department of Education Testing Program consists of different state prescribed tests. All students enrolled in public schools, including charter schools, at a grade level where a mandated test is administered statewide, will participate in test administration per Nevada Revised Statute (NRS 390).Federal and state requirements have been aligned so that all students must participate fully and meaningfully in the state assessments. Students with disabilities and students classified as English Learners (EL) must also participate and may use accommodations and/or designated supports, as appropriate.(Source: Nevada Department of Education)
