Defensive Driving Registration

Offered by the district via Safeschools, now available as a 1hr. online course.
- How to register for a Defensive Driving Course if the coach has an Employee Number
- Login to Safeschoolsuse your Employee ID number (E000xxxxx).
- To complete all four required (4) online courses, find the Extra Trainings link.
- City Driving
- Defensive Driving
- Distracted Driving
- Winter Driving
- You will need to print the certificate for each of the four sections and have your Athletic Administrator sign off as COMPLETE.
- How to register for a Defensive Driving Course if the coach does NOT have an Employee Number
- The Athletic Director will login to Safeschoolsuse his/her Employee ID number (E000xxxxx).
- A coach is required to complete all four (4) online courses found on the Extra Trainings link.

CPR/AED Registration

Coaches are required to maintain current American Heart Association or American Red Cross adult and child CPR and AED certification. Classes are available for free through Student Health Services’ Medical Emergency Response and Triage Training Program. If you have questions or do not have a district login, email cpr@washoeschools.net.
Annual Request to Transport Student Requirements

Some sports may require coaches/volunteer coaches to transport students during the regular scheduled season or during State Championships. In order to legally transports student coaches must complete Administrative Form 7576 (Anual Request to Transport Students).
We strongly recommend that all Tennis and Golf coaches be cleared to drive prior to the start of their season. Clearance is only good for one calendar year, all request must be submitted to the Transportation Department for approval. Please click on the form below for specific requirements for approval.
