• ALL coaches must submit and complete a job application through the WCSD HR Department.  Job Opportunities - Application
• ALL coaches must complete #14831 CPR and AED training.  PowerSchool (truenorthlogic.com)
• All coaches must meet with their schools' assigned HR Generalist. -Please contact the HR Welcome Center at 775-348-0200.

Once hired, a coach will NOT receive payment if the following three trainings are not complete.

• Mandated Reporting, Harassment, Bullying Training

Offered by the district as an Office of Civil Rights (OCR) Training Class, this class should be done prior to the start of the sports season.

• Defensive Driving Course (Optional)

Are mandatory by the NIAA and checked by each individual schools’ Athletic Director.

• Coaching Certification for specific sport
  • Fundamentals of Coaching
  • First Aid, Health and safety for coaches
• NFHA Concussion in Sports renewed every three years.
