    Prerequisites: Vans shoe design, Animashion-ish, or Scratch

    Objectives
    ​1. Use tutorials to develop skills with a new piece of software.
    2. Develop a programmable game that can be uploaded into XBOX and played with friends.
    3. Document the process of developing a video game.
    4. Research the history of video game programming and how it has impacted STEAM.

    INTRODUCTION:  Using PowerPoint, create a title and introduction slide. These slides must have the authors first and last name. The objectives must be REWRITTEN IN YOUR OWN WORDS. The presentation must be aesthetically pleasing and grammatically correct.

    2. Create a landscape. It must have a mountain/volcano, ocean/lake/river, and a forest/garden.
    3. Using screen video you must show all of your landscape
    4. This PowerPoint will explain how to save your game to the Learner's Drive. 

    RESEARCH: 
    1.  Give example of 2 programs similar to Kodu. How are they similar? How are they different?
    2.  Go to this website. There are several articles here about what makes a BAD video game. Choose 2 articles. Read them and summarize them in your own words.

    CRITICAL THINKING:  
    1.  How should video game’s levels progress? Should they linearly increase in difficulty or exponentially? Why?
    2. Why are they still bugs and glitches in professional video games?

    EXTEND: 
    1.  Watch these tutorials for inspiration:

    1. You must create your own unique video game.
      3. There must be a way to win the game, a clear objective, and an antagonist.
