The Dilworth Booster Club is looking to fill the club President and Vice President positions
The Booster Club is looking to fill the President and Vice President positions for the 2017-2018 school year. These positions must be filled prior to our next year for the Booster Club to continue. If you are interested, please contact our Parent Involvement Facilitator

Dilworth has become a beacon for 21st Century Learning by being one of the first to offer classes in Automation and Robotics and Aviation Aeronautics.  Students focus on complex hands-on activities to explore different design, construction, programming, and commercial applications relating to these fields.  This has been a great addition to our STEM school model which continues to facilitate community outreach programs throughout the year.
The mission of Dilworth STEM Academy is to create a safe, effective, and rigorous learning culture which will provide students with the foundation they need to be college and career ready by the time they graduate from high school.  We believe that students learn best through Project-Based Learning which is driven by the combined efforts of students, staff, parents, and the community.
AVID is not just another program… at its heart, AVID is a philosophy. Hold students accountable to the highest standards, provide academic and social support, and they will rise to the challenge.

    • Teaches skills and behaviors for academic success
    • Provides intensive support with tutorials and strong student/teacher relationships
    • Creates a positive peer group for students
    • Develops a sense of hope for personal achievement gained through hard work and determination

As a result, policymakers and educators now consider AVID's mission to be an essential strategy for closing the achievement gap, making college access and success available to all students.
