PENNIES FOR PATIENTS FUNDRAISER
Our school has decided to take on blood cancer and our mission is to help find a cure. We kicked-off our Hero Squad (Pennies for Patients) program on February 8th and it will last until February 26! B D Billinghurst Middle School has participated in this worthy cause since 2006, and raised over $30,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Last year we raised $2,965! I have attached a Parent Letter that your child should have brought home.
You can search for your classrooms page by clicking here– Scroll down on the left, under “Donate to a classroom or student”. Search classroom name by inputting the last name of your child’s enrichment teacher, and that will take you to your classrooms page.
Thank you for your support of our school’s Hero Squad program! You are most appreciated for your help in being part of our squad! Additional questions can be directed to Kineth.urans@LLS.ORG

SCHOOL FEES
Right now we are just asking for a flat fee of $25 per each student, rather than having each class charge a fee. A green half sheet should have been sent home with your student. You can send in a check or cash with your student to the school office. If you would like to pay with a credit card, please call Ms. Carney @ 775-746-5870. There is a 3% fee for credit card payments that are charged by our bank. You can also preorder a yearbook for your student for $25.
