A Family Resource Center is a safe and friendly place to go for many different types of resources when families need help. The Family Resource Center serves children, teens, parents, single adults, and seniors, anyone who lives in the surrounding community, and when our community is healthy, our students are ready to learn! The Washoe County School District has recently added two FRC locations., and all locations are open year-round. Access to food, clothing, and referrals to vital resources begins with either a text or a phone call to the Family Resource Center hotline: 775-204-1408. Staff can often connect residents with resources while texting or speaking on the phone, or schedule an in-person meeting at one of the five Family Resource Centers.
