The Coronavirus pandemic has been difficult for many of our students and their families. A team of staff across School District Departments has worked hard to adapt and find new ways to support education during school closures, distance learning, and with physical distancing. School counselors, Social Workers, Safe School Professionals, Attendance Officers, and the staff at our Family Resource Centers have worked together to identify families struggling with unemployment, food insecurity, or homelessness, any of which can make learning very difficult for our kids. They are working to provide families with resources including food pantries and deliveries, housing and utility bill assistance, and access to healthcare. Together, we can keep our District students healthy and engaged in their learning.
