Validation Day
Starting with the 2015-2016 school year, the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) pulls numbers from the District’s student information system on October 1 of each school year. These numbers are used to determine enrollment in the District overall as well as enrollment in special programs such as Gifted and Talented, Free and Reduced Lunch, Special Education, and English Language Learners. Students enrolled in the District and/or enrolled in Special Programs are counted in whole numbers. The District is given an opportunity to validate the numbers.
