Am I able to list multiple schools on one application just in case?
Posted by:Unfortunately, we are only able to process one school request at a time per application.

Can an Out of District Variance be revoked?
Posted by:Yes, an Out of District Variance can be revoked if the child does not meet acceptable standards of attendance and conduct as established by the school principal.

Can I enroll my child at the school while I wait for the Out of District approval?
Posted by:A parent may complete online registration and can provide any additional documentation required by a WCSD school, but the student will not be permitted to attend until the Out of District Variance is complete and approved by the receiving district and the district of residence.

Do I have to submit an Out of District Variance Application again next year?
Posted by:Yes, all Out of District Variances must be renewed every school year.

Is it the parents responsibility to ask for the other district approval?
Posted by:No, once the parent completes the top portion of the variance application and is submitted for review, the receiving district takes the responsibility of seeking review and possible approval from the adjoining state or district.

Posted by:Yes, there is no limit to the number of schools a child can apply to as long as they are processed one school at a time.

When will Out of District Variance applications be reviewed for the upcoming (25-26) school year?
Posted by:All Out of District Variance applications will be reviewed after May 1st, 2025 for the upcoming 25-26 school year.
