WCSD Needs You: Recruitment Fairs and 
Hiring Events to be Held in Coming Weeks
 

What: The Washoe County School District (WCSD) is looking for highly qualified teachers, special education staff members, classroom aides and assistants, and therapists to fill more than 100 vacancies before the beginning of school on Monday, August 12.  

The district is also looking for transportation staff members, nutrition services personnel, and individuals with a variety of other skills to work in departments across WCSD.

WCSD has scheduled numerous hiring events and recruitment fairs in the next few weeks to provide opportunities for interested individuals to explore job opportunities with the district. WCSD offers competitive wages, generous health benefits that are effective on the first contracted day of work, and enrollment in the Public Employment Retirement System (PERS). Wednesday, July 17

Friday, July 19
10 a.m. to 12 noon
Hug High School

*At this event, WCSD is recruiting for teaching and para-educator positions at the high school level only*

Saturday, July 20
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Shaw Middle School

Monday, July 22

Lois Allen Elementary School

In addition, WCSD recruiters will be available for questions and applications at Artown. Their booth will be set up near the main stage in Wingfield Park on the following dates:
