WCSD Seniors with Perfect Attendance to
Participate in Annual Honda Civic Giveaway
Reno, NV (June 21, 2024) – For the 16th consecutive year, Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda will award a 2024 Honda Civic to a graduating senior from Washoe County schools who achieved perfect attendance during their senior year. A total of 85 students from Washoe County School District (WCSD) schools, along with students from parochial schools and charter schools in Washoe County were informed of their eligibility earlier this week.
"We are so excited to meet these students and their families, and all of us are proud to sponsor this event for the 16th year," said Sandy Raffealli, owner of Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda. "This year, the winning student will receive a brand-new Honda Civic. We look forward to presenting the winner with a new car."
The event will take place on Saturday, June 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon with the drawing taking place promptly at 12 noon at Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda, located at 780 Kietzke Lane in Reno. Students must be present to win.
Sponsors of this year’s event include Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda, Little Caesars, Reno Media Group, Amplified Entertainment, Sinclair Broadcasting, and Mi Linda Guatemala Restaurant and Bakery.

- WCSD Board of Trustees President Beth Smith
- WCSD Board of Trustees Vice President Adam Mayberry
- WCSD Board Trustee Dr. Diane Nicolet
- Incoming WCSD Deputy Superintendent Tiffany McMaster
- Sandy Raffealli, owner of Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda.
