Community Engagement

The Office of Communications and Community Engagement works to establish community collaboration, involvement, and participation with our key stakeholders. These stakeholders include business leaders, non-profits, community members, elected officials, faith-based leaders, higher education staff, and other community members with an interest in education, students, staff, and our District. We also plan, coordinate, and host strategic community events that share information, seek input, and provide engagement opportunities for our community. These events include casual conversations with staff and community, townhall meetings, community forums, State of Education, Graduation Rates News Conference, school tours, and special events. Staff members from the Office of Communications and Community Engagement represent the Superintendent and/or District at community events, serve on community boards, and attend meetings/events with our community stakeholders. We are always striving to stay connected with all of our community stakeholders.
