  • Mission Statement

     
    As a committee to the Board of Trustees, the function of the Audit Committee is to assist the Trustees in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities related to the District's financial and other reporting obligations, internal control processes, and compliance with laws, regulations and ethics.

Membership

  • The Audit Committee consists of seven (7) voting members whose two-year terms run January - December. 

    Committee members collectively should possess the knowledge in accounting, auditing, business, financial reporting, law, and school district finances.  These skills are needed to understand and evaluate the school district’s financial statements, the external audit and the District’s internal audit activities.
