  • The Wellness Program's mission is to promote and improve employee wellness and reduce health risks through education and wellness activities, goal setting and outreach events. Its goal is to engage and empower all individuals to strengthen and maintain their health to enhance their quality of life, in keeping with the Washoe County School District's mission statement.


Upcoming Events


    The Washoe County School District Wellness Department is excited to announce that effective September 3, 2019, Virgin Pulse, an international and reputable wellness organization, will be our new wellness partner.  Virgin Pulse has 15 years of experience in the industry, and we are happy to have their knowledgeable support as we continue to grow our Wellness Program. The platform offers several of the same capabilities as Healthy Tracks, such as step tracking, challenges, health assessment, point earning opportunities and more.

    With this exciting change, everyone will have to create a Virgin Pulse online account to participate. All WCSD insured members will receive an informational guide in the mail. Additionally, multiple email communications outlining the registration process will go out before and after our launch date of September 3, 2019.

    The Virgin Pulse Team is very prepared to support our population through this process. Even though change can be challenging, we are excited and confident in our new partner and in the future of our WCSD Wellness Program. Please let us know if you have any questions.
