Follow this link to Specialty Health to make an appointment. Walk in's are welcome!

On the day of your screening:

1. Please fast for 10 hours before your appointment. Water is encouraged and black coffee is fine.
2. Please be well-hydrated and take medication, as directed by your physician.
3. Please bring your WCSD health insurance card to provide proof of eligibility.  

Wellness Screenings are FREE for WCSD employees, retirees, and spouses with WCSD health insurance. Specialty Health is our vendor who will be completing our screenings. Your results will load onto your personal Virgin Pulse account 7-10 business days after your screening is completed. Your screening will include:

• Blood pressure
• Weight
• BMI
• Body fat percentage
• Lipid panel (Total Cholesterol, HDL, Triglycerides, and LDL) 
• Blood glucose measurements
• Fingerstick and venipuncture methods are available

Additional, optional labs are available for a cost. 

Scheduling:

To schedule optional lab tests, please choose YES to the advanced lab's question when completing the "Contact Form". 

Payment: 

Participants will need to pay for the optional lab tests prior to their screening appointment. Optional labs are payable by credit or debit card only. Please make the payments through the "Contact Form". Specialty Health will not accept Medicare part B beneficiaries or bill your insurance.

Optional Lab Tests and Pricing:

• CBC: Provides information about the blood (red & white cell counts) that may indicate conditions such as anemia, leukemia, and infection as well as problems with blood clotting. - $15.00
• TSH: Thyroid Stimulating Hormone evaluates thyroid function. - $25.00
• Free T4: Initial thyroid test to evaluate thyroid function. - $40.00
• Vitamin D 25 Hydroxy: To identify Vitamin D deficiency. - $50.00
• Glycohemoglobin: (Hemoglobin A1C) to assess blood sugar in the control of diabetes. - $15.00
• CMP: (Complete Metabolic Panel) includes sodium, potassium, chloride (electrolytes), BUN & Creatinine (kidney function), SGOT & SGPT (liver function).  – $20.00
• GlycA: $25.00
• Testorsterone: $100.00

Immunizations will be available at all of the WCSD Wellness Screening dates. You are not required to make an appointment if you would like to receive immunizations.
