MISSION STATEMENT
The focus of the Washoe County School District Behavior Hearings and Placement Office is to provide quality and timely support to all students, families, district schools and juvenile agencies by leading and facilitating decisions that positively impact the probability of student success. Each student and family comes to our office with unique circumstances, beliefs and abilities that must be recognized, validated and supported. We strive to maintain student academic and behavioral integrity, while keeping the overall safety of the student and schools they may attend paramount in all placements and behavioral decisions rendered. Our overarching goal is to create and support academic and social success for all clients keeping at the forefront the pathway of college and career readiness.
