Volunteer Services Coordinator
Phone: (775) 348-0331
My name is Nicole Vazquez and I am ecstatic to serve as your Volunteer Services Coordinator. Having begun my 12 year tenure with Washoe County School District as a parent volunteer, I have had the pleasure in serving in several capacities as I continue to progress in my career. Beginning as a parent volunteer in my children’s schools, I then transitioned into the role of a teacher aide in a Comprehensive Life Skills (CLS) classroom. I then served as a medical aide until I successfully secured a position as a school bus driver. All of these positions brought me great joy and provided me the opportunity to navigate throughout the district learning how various departments services students and their families.
