Mission Statement

Through constant monitoring of local, state and federal available resources, the Grants Department's Mission is to provide District-level, department-level, school-level oversight, management and assistance in acquiring supplemental resources to increase student achievement and to support the five goals Washoe County School District 2023-2026 Strategic Plan

Vision and Purpose

Grants Department is responsible for the management and oversight of all grant funding in the District. This includes competitive and formula-based, and categorical grants from federal, state, and private sources. The Grants Department oversees fiscal requirements, programming compliance, and evaluation reporting on all grants.
