Welcome to Sexuality Health And Responsibility Education (S.H.A.R.E.)
The Washoe County School District's Sexuality, Health And Responsibility Education (S.H.A.R.E.) program provides students with a factual, comprehensive, abstinence-based instructional program delivered by specially trained teachers and counselors addressing HIV/AIDS awareness, reproductive system, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's) and sexual responsibility.
Major Function:The S.H.A.R.E. program assists students in making informed choices and avoid behaviors that put them at risk.

Who Teaches S.H.A.R.E.?
If you would like to know when your child will receive S.H.A.R.E., please reach out to your child's school.The S.H.A.R.E. Advisory Committee meets monthly to review and discuss curriculum needs and community concerns. - 4th-5th grade: School Counselors &/or Classroom Teachers
