    UPCOMING EVENTS:

Purpose of Family’s Love Support The Family’s Love Support Group was created after the tragic suicide death of a 13-year-old whose loving family’s mission and his mother’s vision is now to help and connect with others with similar experiences. Living with a child having thoughts of suicide can be challenging, and the support group addresses pervasive loneliness, loss of friends or family because of lack of knowledge and an understanding of how to support those living with ideation or experiences without fear of judgment. Family’s Love Support group is designed to provide a safe space where families can find understanding, validation, and education on how to help a child with suicide ideation and treatment options. You are not alone, and by helping yourself first, you can help your child more effectively.

Signs of Suicide Program

  • We are working to teach students about mental health and how to seek help if they are worried about themselves or a friend. We are using a program called SOS Signs of Suicide. The program teaches students about this difficult topic and encourages them to seek help.

SOS has been used by thousands of schools for over 20 years. Studies have shown that it effectively teaches students about depression and suicide while reducing the number of students’ self-reported suicide attempts.

For more information, please visit the SOS Parent Resource website and access our resource library below.
