Welcome to B.D. Billinghurst Middle School
Welcome to B.D. Billinghurst Middle School. We are a 6-8 middle school in Reno, Nevada and part of Washoe County School District. We hope this site offers you a glimpse into who we are, what we do, how and why we do it.
BDB is a collection of staff, administrators, parents, and community members dedicated to providing a positive learning environment that meets the unique and personal needs of the middle school child.
PICTURE DAY Makeups/Retakes
For students that have not yet had their school picture taken, or those that would like to retake their photo, we have 2 final days scheduled with our photographer. This is for your yearbook photo, student ID Card, and school pictures for purchase as well.
B-Day students will be on Monday, January 25, from 8-10 a.m.
A-Day students will be on Tuesday, January 26, from 8-10 a.m.
FULL DISTANCE LEARNING Students will have an opportunity on both days from 10-noon to have their photo taken. The photographer will be set up in the activity room and students can access that room from the school parking lot without having to come in to the main building.
Again, this will be the final opportunity for all students to have their school photo taken for the 20-21 school year.
1ST SEMESTER REPORT CARDS
Report cards will be distributed to in person students on Tuesday & Wednesday, January 19 & 20 during school.
Full Distance Learners can come pick up their report card between 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
Welcome to the 20-21 school year! Things will look a bit different this year, but always remember your Bighorn Attitude! Right here is where you will find important information and updates, so please check back often!
When on campus, please remember to adhere to all social distancing measures including wearing a mask and maintaining 6 feet of distance.
Right now we are just asking for a flat fee of $25 per each student, rather than having each class charge a fee. A green half sheet should have been sent home with your student. You can send in a check or cash with your student to the school office. If you would like to pay with a credit card, please call Ms. Carney @ 775-746-5870. There is a 3% fee for credit card payments that are charged by our bank. You can also preorder a yearbook for your student for $25.

School Asset Guide
The School Asset Guide is a list of community and District supports and resources located at each Washoe County School District school. The asset guide helps families, administrators, teachers, staff, and community members better learn which programs are available at each school site. Users are able to search by school or program type to discover opportunities available to students in topics such as:
- Before- and After-School Programs
- Financial Literacy
- And more!
All community volunteers listed in the guide have been screened and approved through the WCSD Volunteer Services Department.
