Welcome to the Academy of Arts, Careers and TechnologyThe Academy of Arts, Careers and Technology (AACT) is an advanced career technical education academy within the Washoe County School District. AACT provides the opportunity for students to determine what career or college pathway they want to pursue in post-secondary education. AACT creates the support structure to ensure students enter a college or profession ready to use all available technology and tools necessary to be the best and brightest in the field. AACT has been recognized as a top performing school within the Washoe County School District, and it has produced the highest graduation rate for all Northern Nevada High Schools.

- Graduation Guest Ticket/Parking Pass Information: Students/Families will need to request the number of tickets/passes they need to use this link. All ticket requests need to be submitted by May 25, 2022. Once you have requested the number of tickets (up to 10) /parking passes (up to 3) needed, they will be placed in an envelope and passed out at Senior Sunset. Students must pick up their own tickets and will be requested to sign for their tickets. If unable to pick up at Senior Sunset, students or their parents may pick up tickets from the admin. office. Again, packets must be signed for. There will be no exceptions.
Capstone Panelists Wanted ASAP
AACT needs your help! As we bring back traditions important to our school, we are also bringing back Senior Presentation Night, an event where our seniors present their portfolios and capstone projects. We are asking for panelists to come watch our seniors’ presentations. It will be held Wednesday, May 25th, from 2:30-7PM. You can volunteer for one or more hours during that time period. This is a tough year and we’re rebuilding traditions, and we can’t do it without your help! If you can help, please email either AACTSeniorNight22@gmail.com or GBurge@washoeschools.net.

Per recent USDA approval, the cost of all school meals will be covered now though the end of the 2020-2021 school year, June 30, 2022. Meals are available and free to all students (18 and under).
