1^st Advisor Meeting                                                           Deadline to meet with your advisor:  October 4

JSL Advisor chosen by committee                    Capstone Advisor- CTE Instructor
Go over proposal and develop a plan with 3-5 steps to begin project.

2^nd Advisor Meeting                                                                                                                 November 8

Check in. Students should have turned proposal into an introductory page for their portfolio, consisting of a brief description of the project, goals, and a schedule with at least five accountable steps with dates.

3^rd Advisor Meeting                                                                                                                  December 6

Identify students who need to change direction before semester ends
Guide students who need to get things done over winter break.

Spring Semester

Advisor Check-in                                                                                                                       January 31^st

Identify any red flags: Find students that need to do alternative research projects.
