Guests must have their ceremony tickets to enter the parking lot. There will be visible signage.
Taxi/Uber drop off will be located on the Virginia Street turn lane at 15th Street.
Day of information:

Families and invited guests can enter Lawlor via the upper concourse at doors 22 and 36. Doors will open at 6:45pm. Families and guests will not be permitted beyond the upper concourse. Plan to meet your student outside the upper concourse after the ceremony. No food or drink will be allowed inside Lawlor.
Nevada Wolfpack Venue Bag Policy: The University of Nevada, Reno has implemented a new policy limiting the size and type of bag allowed for all events in an effort to provide a safer environment for the public and expedite entry into athletic venues.
For more information: https://www.unr.edu/lawlor/visit/bag-policy
Disabled guests may access through the South Entrance and use the elevator to the concourse level to find seating. Individuals with mobility impairment or adaptive devices will be allowed one guest to accompany them in the disabled seating area.

A live feed of the graduation ceremony will be available for guests that are unable to attend at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1LLacPpiN0 (a link will be available on the AACT website)
Demeanor of Spectators: This is a formal ceremony. The graduates request that all spectators, parents, family, and friends behave in an appropriate manner, respectful of their accomplishments. Beach balls, balloons, confetti, lighters, signs, air horns, large camera equipment and/or any other noisemakers or distractors are expressly forbidden.
GRADUATION CEREMONY for Students
*Only AACT Graduates will be allowed to enter through the south tunnel. Graduates are asked to limit personal belongings as Lawlor and WCSD will not be responsible for lost/missing items. Graduates will not be allowed to bring in outside food or drink. Water will be provided in the ready rooms.
Caps and Gowns: The student’s gown should be neatly pressed with a cool iron or steamer prior to arrival at Lawlor Events Center. The tassel on the cap is worn over the left eye at the beginning of the ceremony. Only approved cords, medals, and sashes may be worn outside of the student’s cap and gown. Please see Mr. Mattick with questions regarding cords/sashes. Final approval of cords/sashes will be given at graduation practice on June 5th.
Expected Attire: For graduation, semi-formal is recommended. High heels are not recommended as walking up the stairs of the stage can be troublesome. Wedge heels or flats are suggested. If you have a question about this expectation, please see Mr. Mattick for approval.
Graduation Photos: Bell Photography will be on site to photograph each graduate. Seniors will receive information on how to order upon pick up of their diploma.
Graduation Behavior: Participating in the graduation ceremony is not a right; it is a privilege. Students who do not behave according to expectations can face immediate removal from the graduation ceremony. Should a student be found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the ceremony, he or she will be denied the opportunity to participate in the ceremony and will be turned over to authorities. Diplomas will not be issued to these students but will be issued to the parent(s) at a conference with the school principal, to be requested by the parent(s) and held within 30 days after graduation.
We hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
