Welcome to The Debbie Smith Career and Technical Education Academy
Debbie Smith Career and Technical Education Academy is set to open in August of 2025. We are an advanced career and technical academy that provides access to college pathways as well as career certifications. Our students will leave Debbie Smith prepared for the future they choose through the real life, relevant, and rigorous curriculum that all of our students will be given access to.

The Home of the Mavericks will house nine separate CTE Academies including:
- Practical Nursing and Nursing Assistant
- Building Construction and Technology
- BioMedical
- Marketing and Multimedia
- Natural Resources and Animal Sciences
- Welding and Metalworking
- Teaching and Training
- Engineering and Manufacturing
- Culinary with Hospitality and Tourism
