Welcome Back Teal and Black!
Attention Families: The online registration window has opened! Please utilize your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to complete your student’s online registration. This is a critical piece for North Valleys High school as the number of students who complete their online registration will impact the number of teachers we are allocated for next school year.
Picture Day is Coming! Fall Picture Day for grades 9-11 is August 26-27, 2024 and our Makeup Picture Day will be October 16, 2024.
Panthers: You have until August 30th to complete any finals missed from last semester. See the teacher of the course to complete the final. If the teacher is no longer at our site please see your Counselor or Mrs. Williams to complete the Final Exam. All INC grades on your 2nd Semester Report Card will change to the letter grade of "F" after August 30th.
Attention 10th and 11th Graders: The PSAT will be offered at NVHS on Wednesday, October 23th at 8:00am. Sophomores who are interested, please see your counselor to sign up. Juniors who would like to take it to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship will need to pay $18 to the bookkeeper and will also sign up with their counselor. Sign-ups will close on 9/13 so that the exams can be ordered. Thank you!
Parents and Students: As a reminder, a DMV Certification of Attendance form needs to be signed by the school prior to your child obtaining their instruction permit or driver’s license. The attendance form can be found on the DMV website. Students need to meet Nevada school attendance requirements, which is 90% average daily attendance, in order for this form to be signed. Please submit forms to front office and allow a 24 hour turnaround in order for the school to verify and sign that your child meets the attendance requirements. Thank you.

Canvas Link: Students and families, North Valleys High School no longer uses Microsoft Teams for our classes and communication from instructors. We now use Canvas at washoe.instructure.com for our coursework.
