    The Academy of Arts, Careers and Technology (AACT) is an advanced career technical education academy within the Washoe County School District.  AACT provides the opportunity for students to determine what career or college pathway they want to pursue in post-secondary education.  AACT creates the support structure to ensure students enter a college or profession ready to use all available technology and tools necessary to be the best and brightest in the field. AACT has been recognized as a top performing school within the Washoe County School District, and it has produced the highest graduation rate for all Northern Nevada High Schools.

    Senior Celebration Fundraiser
    To make this graduation ceremony special, we will be selling senior yard signs for $25 each. This 18x24 single-sided, weatherproof sign will include the AACT name and logo and if desired a picture of your graduating senior. This Senior Celebration Fundraiser will raise money for special graduation events, decorations and senior gifts. 


    If you would like to purchase a sign, please email Breanne Jones. Deadline to purchase a sign will be Friday, May 14th. You may pay the following ways:
    1. Check made payable to AACT and mailed directly to the school.
    2. Online via the WebStore (5.4% processing fee).
    3. Come to AACT with cash, check or debit/credit card (3% processing fee).

    Scholarship Award Announcements and Letters
    Many senior students are receiving letters, or email announcements about scholarships!  Congratulations!  Please forward the award announcements by email to Heather.Ginn@WashoeSchools.net.  Or email a screenshot, or photo of the scholarship announcement.  Ms. Ginn needs a legible verification of the scholarship award so you are included in the Scholarship and Awards Ceremony.  Thank you! 


    School Meals Offered until June 30, 2021
    Per recent USDA approval, the cost of all school meals will be covered now though the end of the 2020-2021 school year, June 30, 2021. Meals are available and free to all students (18 and under). Click here for more pick up information.
