• Antoinette Marie Redd is the Princial at Pine.

  • Nina (Kristina) Walker is the Assistant Principal at Pine.

    Ms. Walker has most recently served as the Dean, Building Learning Facilitator, and Summer School Site Facilitator at Lenz Elementary. During her time there she coached and evaluated staff, designed and delivered PD, implemented and strengthened the PLC process and retooled the MTSS system. She restructured the Schoolwide Discipline Program and implemented an initiative that decreased disruptive behaviors and increased positive student outcomes. Prior to Lenz, Ms. Walker worked at one of our feeders, Huffaker Elementary and two Title One schools: Donnor Springs and Robert Mitchell. During her time at Donnor Springs and Robert Mitchell she was a CLS and SIP teacher. Ms. Walker’s experience as a data-driven leader who has implemented systems to facilitate schoolwide academic growth and behavioral success make her the right person at the right time to co-lead Pine towards our ambitious vision for future.

  • Melissa Rose is a Dean of Students at Pine.

    Ms. Rose is excited to start this new year at Pine. Ms. Rose has been a teacher for eleven years, nine of which have been in the Washoe County School District (WCSD). Ms. Rose started her career as a middle school in-school suspension director, she then moved to teaching middle school social studies. For the past seven years, Ms. Rose was working at Sparkjs High School teaching government, AP geography, U.S., and world history. Ms. Rose is excited to have returned to middle school. Ms. Rose has worked with many school leaders over the years and knows that a pragmatic administration makes all the difference in the world. Ms. Rose is looking forward to supporting the Pine communities.

    Additionally, Ms. Rose is a WCSD parent. Ms. Rose has two teens, one is a recent graduate, with honors, from Reno High, who will be attending UNR this fall; the second will be a Reno High School senior this fall.
