Grades 6-8 Course Selection & G.A.T.E.

Course selection for grades 6-8: follows the prescribed courses for each grade level as indicated below: 4 core courses and 1 elective based on corresponding semester.  (Students DO NOT select elective options they are pre-assigned)

1st SEMESTER ELECTIVE:

6th grade: Art

7th grade: MS Digital Arts

8th Grade: Ed Tech

2nd SEMESTER ELECTIVE:

6th grade-8th grade: PE/Health 

We do offer Accelerated courses for students in grades 3-6 in ELA, Math and Science. Students are placed in Accelerated courses based on several factors including, but not limited to: GATE qualification as well as academic and assessment data.
