The ACT is a graduation requirement for WCSD. This is offered once during your junior year (If you are a Senior and did not participate in the ACT your Junior year, you must complete the test before you graduate. Please see your counselor for more information). There is no cost for students.
If you want to improve your score and take it a second time, then students will be required to register (on their own) and pay the fee. The ACT tests are usually given on Saturdays. There are fee waivers available through ACT for certain circumstances.
Please Note: At this time, many colleges have made reporting ACT scores optional for admissions; however most colleges are using scores to determine scholarship eligibility and class placement. Please review the admission requirements for each individual college.
Locating your ACT scores for colleges and scholarship applications: Login to MYACT . Click on the link to access your ACT scores. Select the left box that says "don't have an account." You will need your ACT ID (from the score report you received in the mail) and you must enter your name exactly as it is in IC. If you can't locate your ACT ID, you can call ACT at 319-337-1270.

2023 - 2024 Test Dates and Fees
SAVE YOUR ACT SCORE REPORT! Your ACT student ID is on the score report that you received from your RHS ACT. You will need that to send your official test scores to colleges.
Junior ACT Scores: How to order your score report.
- To access your ACT scores from the test taken by JUNIORS at RHS (paid for by the State of NV), you must first create an ACT student account if you don’t already have one. Visit act.org and do the following:
- Click on “SIGN-IN”/”SIGN IN OR CREATE AN ACCOUNT” along the top tool bar to the right. Then, “US ACT TESTING & SCORES” and then “CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT” under “CREATE ACCOUNT”.
- When creating an ACT account for the first time (which you are doing if the only time that you have taken the test is at RHS) you will be asked if you’ve already registered for and taken an ACT. Select No when asked “IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED BEFORE” and YES for “HAVE YOU TAKEN THE ACT BEFORE”.
- You can then enter your student ACT ID number that was sent in the mail/email with your ACT test scores. Your test scores should merge into your account.
