  • FAFSA IS NOW OPEN!!

    https://studentaid.gov/articles/fafsa-for-parents/

    1. Student and parent contributor must create an account and gather documents. IMPORTANT: Student must have their own studentaid.gov account. Parent cannot share an account with a child. 
    2. The FAFSA form is the student's application and not parent/guardian's. Students are encouraged to begin their FAFSA form and invite any additional contributors that are needed.

    FAFSA Workshops - Janurary 22nd and 27th 5:30pm - 7pm: Need assistance with completing FAFSA? Join UNR representative in the Library to complete your FAFSA form. 

    Jostens - Cap and Gown ordering 

    If you have not ordered your cap and gown for graduation - please see options below. The group order deadline for graduation cap, gown & tassel and other celebration items has been extended to December 4, 2024.

    It is easy to order:

    ⇒SENIORS! If you have filled out the Common App (or any other college application needing a rec letter) please read!

    1. If you are doing early action and we don't have you on our Common App portal yet, understand that yours will not likely be done on time as those are due by Nov. 1 which is next week!
    2. If you did already add us to your Common App but we don't have a brag sheet or high school resume, we will only be able to submit a very bland rec letter... 
    3. PICK UP A REC LETTER REQUEST FORM IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE!

  • Book an appointment with your counselor HERE **please understand that students will not be pulled out of core classes for appointments—students should schedule meetings before or after school, during lunch, or during electives with teacher's permission** Parents, unless in case of emergency, please refrain from dropping in without an appointment as we will prioritize those with appointments booked with us, and sometimes we are out of the office due to district and/or IHS meetings, trainings, classroom lessons and grad planning, etc.
