Please save the date of November 29th as the following activities will be open for all students and their parents;
- At 1:30 the seniors and parents who wish help in filling out the FAFSA required by schools for financial assistance will be able to meet with the counselor and Silvia Ambriz-Hurtado in the library. Silvia will be able to assist in Spanish. There will be some assistance and explanation of the CSS.
- At 4:30 Justin Bouldt, the UNR recruiter, will be available for assistance in filling out the application and for answering questions about applying to UNR,
- College Info Night begins at 5:30 in the cafeteria. The panel of recruiters from LTCC, Sierra College, Sierra Nevada College, TMCC, UNR and WNC will be speaking and then be available for questions until 6:30. ALL AGES ARE RECOMMENDED TO ATTEND.
YOUTH SCIENCE INSTITUTE
UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) offers a 16-week afterschool program January through May. With the Youth Science Institute, high school students will work with scientists, conduct science experiments, take a ride on the UC Davis research vessel, experience our 3-D visualization lab, share science activities with other students and much more!
