    RISE 2021 Graduation Information

     

    Guest Tickets & Parking Passes

    • Tickets are required for all guests at the graduation ceremony.
    • All vehicles that park in the Damonte Ranch High School parking lot are required to have a parking pass. 
    • Students may pick up tickets, parking passes and caps and gowns beginning June 1st. 
      • Office hours for pick up- Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are unable to pick up your tickets etc., please contact your counselor or the front office (775) 337-9939. 
         

    Walking with Children

    • If you plan to walk across the stage with your children, please indicate how many children will be seated with you and walk with you across the stage when you RSVP for graduation.



    Scholarships- We have 6 scholarships available for students planning to go to college or vocational school. You can access the application HERE

    • Writing an Essay is required. To sign up for our essay writing workshop please click HERE.  
    • Applications are due by:  May 14th @ 3 p.m.

     

    Pictures- Pre-Graduation

    • Graduates may get a picture taken, in cap and gown, at RISE prior to graduation. RISE staff will be available to take pictures May 10th - May 31st between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Students may call the RISE office (775) 337-9939 to see if your cap and gown order is ready for pick up. Graduates should pick up their cap and gown order prior to, or at the time of, having a picture taken. 
      • Pictures will be taken outside of the RISE building at a safe distance. Please remember that masks are required at all times except when your picture is being taken.

    ***PLEASE NOTE, student that wish to pick up their cap and gown early to get a picture taken will have to come back to RISE on or after June 1st to pick up guest tickets and parking passes***


    Pictures for Slideshow

    • Graduates may submit up to four family pictures to be included in a video slideshow. The slideshow will be available on the RISE website and RISE social media feeds only. This video slideshow will not be played at the actual graduation due to the outdoor venue. 

     

     

    • Format: If you send in a horizontal photograph that is preferred but not necessary, if you think of the format of a television screen it is oriented that way.

    Graduation Invitations

    • If you would like to use our announcements to send invitations out to your friends and family, follow this link to our template and you can personalize and print them. They are in English and Spanish. Click on the link, download, and you can change as you wish (change words, add pics). 

     

  • RISE Scholarships

     

    RISE Principal's Scholarship- Merit $1000

    • 3.0 or greater GPA for time enrolled at RISE.

    • Must be enrolled at RISE for at least 2 quarters.

     

    RISE Principal's Scholarship- Financial need $1,000

    • Must demonstrate financial need within the essay.

     

    RISE Scholarship- $1,000

    • All Students welcome to apply.

     

    Adams Excavation Scholarship- $500

    • All Students welcome to apply.

     

    Agustin C. Silva Scholarship- $500

    • Student must be Hispanic/ Latino.

    • Must earn an Adult Dipolma.

    • Must enroll in a 2 or 4 year college.

     

    Edith Yerke Scholarship- $500

    • All Students welcome to apply.

     

    *All application materials are due by May 14th at 3:00 p.m. Students only need to apply one time to be considered for all scholarships for which they qualify.
