YSMS Boosters

YSMS Boosters were created with one goal in mind. To do our best to ensure students, teachers and administrators are provided with the tools and assistance to achieve their personal best. To obtain this goal, Boosters participate in and organize several events and/or activities.

The Boosters hold fundraisers each year. Boosters keep 100% of the money earned. This money helps to fund new programs, team and student incentives and much more. With the support of parents, students, families, businesses and administration, we are hoping to make this our best year ever!

Booster members also run the student store. It is located across from the office on the right. The store sells everything from SHAW wear, water bottles, to student supplies such as paper, pencils, staplers etc. Students may also use their Coyote Cash they earn to purchase supplies in the student store. The store is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 6th grade lunch through 8th grade lunch. Boosters are always looking for parents to help out during those hours.

Boosters help with chaperoning events, as well as being a presence to help out staff, students and parents. We attempt to be a consistent and helpful presence in the school wherever and whenever we are needed. Booster members are an important part of the Yvonne Shaw Middle School. Lastly, Shaw Boosters run and operate The Friday Snack Shack which takes place once a month.
