Tutoring Resources
SSHS Tutoring

Tutoring is available every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-4pm in the College and Career Center. SSHS teachers will be available in all core subjects to assist students with their homework and answer questions that they have. If your student is in need of transportation services at 4pm please contact Juan Villegas at jvillegas@washoeschools.net. Bus stops are limited to the following locations:
- Alice Taylor
- Spanish Springs Elementary
- Sky Ranch MS/Bohatch ES
- VanGorder
- Wingfield Hills Rd and Lawry Dr.
- Wingfield Hills Rd and Darby Rose Lane
PAPER Tutoring

The Board of Trustees recently approved the implementation of the tutoring service, PAPER, for all students in grades 6-12.
PAPER provides:
- Unlimited 24/7/365 tutoring support — sessions can run for as long as students need.
- Revisions for any typed writing assignments.
- Tutoring and writing support in 4 different languages — English, Spanish, French and Mandarin.

Students can access PAPER by logging into Clever with their student login and password. If a student has any issues logging into Clever to access Paper, they can reach out to the Family Tech line for assistance at www.washoeschools.net/familytechsupport
Training for staff members is ongoing, but students currently have access to this service.
WCSD Math Textbooks Online

Our math courses offer online textbooks for students to access all instructional materials as well as instructional games, homework, assigned assessments, and more to help them understand the content. To access the student online textbook, please use the link for your corresponding math course.
