• The Washoe County School District hosts several district-wide honor choirs every year — one for 6th grade, one for 7th/8th grade, and one for high school. Exceptional singers from across the valley are selected to take part in singing advanced repertoire in a large ensemble with participants from other schools. After several rehearsals, the culminating event is a performance on the Pioneer Center stage under the direction of a renowned director in their field. Participating in Honor Choir is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding musical experiences offered to our students!
