Howdy!  I’m Mrs. Gill, and I’m super excited to be on board here at Sky Ranch teaching 6^th, 7^th and 8^th grade resource. I taught resource years ago, for 10 years to be exact, and am excited to be back at it!

I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and graduated from Reed High School.   It was at Reed that I met my wonderful husband.  We have 3 amazing kids—the oldest two are both in college and my youngest goes to Spanish Springs High School. 

Most of my teaching career was spent at Vaughn Middle School, where I taught resource for 10 years and reading intervention for 9.  I also spent four years at the elementary level and 1 year in high school. One thing is for sure…middle school is where my heart is!  I love the goofy, unpredictable and crazy nature of middle schoolers.  There is never a dull moment…and that keeps me going!

When I’m not teaching, I love being outdoors doing anything with family or friends. Give me the sun and a road to walk on, dirt to dig in, a mountain to climb, water to kayak in or a beach to lay on…and that’s my happy place. 

I’m excited to be on board here at Sky Ranch Middle School and looking forward to a rewarding year!
