Hi All,

My name is Kayla Doyle and I am the 8^th Grade Math Resource teacher here at Sky Ranch… Yes… I know, another Kayla thrown into the mix.

I am a Nevada girl at heart. I grew up in Winnemucca NV with my extended family. In a family of 16, there are 7 of us that work in education – when I say the classroom is my second home… I mean it! I spent a lot of my time outside at our cute ranch house in Paradise Valley, which is smaller than Winnemucca, believe it or not.  

I moved to Reno/Sparks in 2012 and attended the University of Nevada, Reno where I received my dual degree in Elementary Edu and Special Edu. I was offered a full-time paid internship at Huffaker Elementary until I was hired as a 6th grade teacher. I then taught 5th grade at Jesse Hall and spent last year as a 7th grade Special Education teacher at Sky Ranch.

Outside of school, I love to travel with my Fiancé, Bryce. We traveled Europe in 2016 where I spent 6 weeks teaching English in Romania. We also spent a good chunk of time in Thailand exploring both the beaches, temples and jungle. I also love to spend time at my second job with the BLM Fire department. I have spent 5 years working there seasonally as an Aircraft Dispatcher. Spending time with my cat, Curtis, also takes up a lot of my time.

I think I can speak for our department as a whole, WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT! You will here us constantly say - If you need something, ASK… If you have a question, ASK.... If there is a problem, COMMUNICATE with us! We are in this together!
