The Nevada Career Explorer is a Washoe County School District site that is powered by Headed2, a secure web-based platform designed to help you explore, plan, and prepare for a career. Using their innovative technology, you are offered an end-to-end career discovery journey. By working through the system, you can access:
- Self-assessment modules that include interest, work importance, and skills profile tools.
- Financial literacy tools include the popular "Budget your Life" assessment.
- Over 900 occupations, as well as information on U.S. colleges and certifications.
- Personalized pathway recommendations based on student exploration.
For this option, you MUST have a Nevada State Library Card.
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Nevada supports adults and students with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, keep and advance in meaningful employment through a range of services based on their employment goals.
VR agency also provides FREE professional consultation services to connect employers with people with disabilities who can help drive business success.

About and How To Instructions
Students receive 4 free official transcripts per fiscal year
Please allow 10 business days to process student records orders.
Instructions:
Go to this website: https://washoeschoolsnv.scriborder.com/
- Click on the backpack near the top left, labeled “Current Student.”
- Fill out student information in the boxes.
- When you get to “Document Will Be Delivered To," hit the blue “Add Delivery Type in (example) University of Nevada" and select University of Nevada Reno.
- Hit the “Save and Close” button.
- When you get to the green section, you will select “College” in the first box, then “Official HS Transcript” in the second box (this will state there is a fee, but will not actually ask you for any money or credit card information).
- Your initials (parent or guardian section) go in the box, then you have to give an electronic signature in the last box.
- Hit "Update Fees and Prepare for Checkout."
- Click submit on the next page, and you're all done!
