Due 10/20- Omega Psi Phi Fraternity International High School Essay Contest
Must complete and submit the application along with essay.

This website will contain a number of scholarships that will be available for applications with various deadlines and eligibility requirements.

Nevada Promise
This scholarship was established by the Nevada Legislature for Nevada high school graduates to attend community college. This scholarship can be used at the following community colleges:
- Truckee MeadowsCcommunity College
- Great Basin Community College
- Western Nevada College
- College of Southern Nevada
Due 3/2024 -Nevada T.E.A.C.H
This scholarship is for students who want to go into the Early Childhood Education field. You must be currently working at a childcare center that is a part of the quality rating system in order to qualify for the scholarship.

Upcoming- Violet Richards Award
Must be a female applicant between the ages of 14-18 who volunteers in the community. Your volunteerism must include work in the community that involves fighting crime, violence and drugs, cleaning up the environment and working to end poverty and discrimination.

National Scholarships
Due 9/15- Gates Scholarship
The Gates scholarship is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for seniors from a low-income household. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.
Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance that is not already covered by financial aid.

Due 9/31- Nitro Scholarship
Easy application, No essay required!
must be 17 years of age or older, be a student who is currently enrolled as a high school junior or senior who intends to enroll in an accredited college or university located within the United States, within a year of graduating high school.

Due 10/2- Coca Cola Scholarship
Open to high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S- post secondary school. U.S citizens, permanent residents and refugees are eligible to apply. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Please see other eligibility requirements.

Due 11/1- Elk's National Foundation
Eligibility:
- Current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.
- Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks.
- Must be graduating high school in 2024.
- Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are submitted; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.

Due 11/3 -Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled in high school & graduating in the spring of 2024
- Minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0 scale
- Be enrolled at an accredited higher education institution in 2024-2025
- Be of Hispanic heritage (includes Spain, Brazil, Philippines). If selected, attend a virtual regional awards ceremony.

Due 11/15- Concerto High School Musicians Scholarship
This competition is open to high school musicians (grades 9-12) enrolled during the 2023-2024 academic year. String, piano and harp players are eligible to apply. You will need to submit a recording of yourself playing and fill out and submit the application.

Due 11/15- 10 Words or less scholarship
- Must be between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2024.
- Must be attending a school in the US or Canada in the Fall of 2024.

Due 11/30- Dr.Juan Andrade Jr. Scholarship
- Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time undergraduate students, in an accredited four-year or two-year institution in the U.S. or U.S. territories.
- Demonstrate a verifiable need for financial support.
- At least one parent must be of Hispanic ancestry. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply (DACA or Undocumented).
- Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students for the Fall 2024.

Are you eligible? You must be a high school senior ready to graduate. Be a legal resident or a DREAMer/DACA recipient. Must be younger than 21 years of age. Have a 2.8 GPA and eligiable to attend a two or four-year college or university. verification of enrollment at accredited institution, and must have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage.

Upcoming 10/1/23- DELL Scholars Program
- participate in a program-approved college readiness program in grades 11 and 12 view list of approved CRP's
- be on track to graduate from an accredited high school in the current academic year
- demonstrate a need for financial assistance
- be eligible to receive a federal pell grant in the first year of college
- plan to enroll full time at an accredited higher education institution in the pursuit of a bachelor's degree directly following high school graduation
- earn a minimum 2.4 GPA
