I am a Northern Nevada Native and proud University of Nevada, Reno graduate. 

This is my seventh year as a Shaw Coyote and my twenty-first year of teaching. I love teaching because I love those "aha" moments that come from good discussion and activities in the classroom.

I am so excited to teach Spanish this year! I spent the last twenty years teaching English at the high school and middle school levels, so this is new to me. My goal is to build a class students look forward to every day--we will have lots of fun along the way (and may learn a little Spanish, too)!

My family is my heart, and you will often get to (or, maybe, have to) hear stories about my husband and our three daughters. My classroom family is my life, too, though, and my husband and three daughters often get to (or have to) hear stories about my "classroom kids."
