Since we are no longer a 1:1 school, technology this year will be fluent and used as needed. At this point, we have about 65 computers for all of our students to share. As a result, we are requesting that students consider downloading certain apps from their personal devices. This is not required and is completely at the discretion of parents and students!
All programs we use are also available online as well if you prefer not to download the apps.
The apps we recommend and will be using the most are:
Canva - Link to BINGO board using Canva
This links to the BINGO board activities, instructions, and samples. This will be used for nightly homework along with nightly reading of independent reading novel.
Infinite Campus (IC) - grading program; great for receiving notifications of grades as teachers enter them and checking grades for grade reports. (This is great for parents to download too!)
PBIS - Our Sky Ranch positive behavior reward system; students use their props to purchase items from our school store and our Topaz base store. They will need an individual unique code from the teacher to get connected.
Outlook (school email); Teams and OneNote - all of these are Microsoft Office 365 programs we use. Students log in using their school email and password. This is the same information used for logging into their school laptops.
